NHM: Ghost Herbarium

Better in large ("L").

I can't believe that I haven't blipped the Old General Herbarium in B&W... It seems so apt: it was previously the heart of the museum's plant collection, but is now a ghost herbarium with its cabinets standing empty. All the colour has left the room...

I've certainly blipped it several times before; I wrote about it here and here if you're interested and haven't read about it before...

I've had a rather jolly day: it was our staff party after work (I stayed for long enough to establish that I couldn't really hear what anyone else was saying...) then I met a friend for supper after not having seen her for months as she's been volunteering in French-speaking African countries. Some people are so intrepid!
