Sikh and you shall find a blip

Yesterday I went to New Cross Hospital at Wolverhampton for a check up.  It's five years since my open heart operation, it doesn't seem that long!
All went well but I will need to go back for an echocardiogram.

F came with me and afterwards he needed to pop into the nearby Sainsburys for a couple of things.  While he was there I went to look at the Guru Nanak Gudwara which is close by.  It's very eye catching and exotic - we don't have anything like it around my area.

There is also a memorial information here to the 21 Sikhs who died defending a British army post from thousands of Afghan tribesmen at the Battle of Saraghari in 1897.
