Bay of Fires
We took the scenic route to St Helen’s/Bay of Fires which meant lots of winding roads!
St Helen’s /Bay of Fires is a beautiful coastal town, and although the name “Bay of Fires” could be because of the amazing colours on the rocks, it was named by an English navigator -Tobias Furneaux when he saw the fires lit by Aboriginal people along the coast.
Extra- caption please! What is the smaller bird saying to the Pelican?
(The Pelican was definitely camera shy).
2nd extra - some of the boats in the harbour.
