Long Standing

I swung by Castlerigg Stone Circle on the way back from dropping L in Keswick. The skies were black and the rain slanted in. Another glorious April day.

These stones have stood here for 4000-5000 years.  I lasted about about five minutes, took a tourist photo, and made a dash for the car.
