The adventure continues...

We woke up in good spirits. Fletch enjoyed a  good pre breakfast walk and was more than happy to share a bit of sausage. 

We decided to explore the woods nearest to the hotel. There were 2 paths, leading to the main wood which we checked out yesterday . We picked the one that seemed less muddy . The first bit if the walk was along side the main road so not very peaceful but then it seemed ok . We walked down to a field with cowslips  and then the path got muddy again. We found another path which seemed great but it got very steep and we realised it was part of a mountain bike trail. It got steeper but we knew we were in the direction to the bridge that led back to the hotel. Unfortunately  the very last 20 yards was no longer a path.. but a quagmire! Thick black mud. We'd two choices  walk all the way back or  find a way through it. 
Oh dear we got rather muddy boots and poor Fletch was up to his tum in black.
So, back to the hotel to clean up ! 

Once we'd  bathed Fletch and changed boots etc we then set off to All Things Bonsai. 
The sun came out and it was very pleasant. 
Good to meet up with Adam and Jude. 
M bought another bonsai of course. 

We then went into the cafe in the garden centre next door . Sat outside for coffee and cake in the warm sunshine Very nice!
