He's been on holiday to Berlin for a week with Miss H. Sounds like they had a fabulous time. Some very entertaining stories.

A little bit of beer drunk, lots of museums, buildings, art and history.

A fair amount of clubbing into the early hours. Lots of groovy places in the Eastern district.

Even sunshine and beaches - I'm jealous!

Mrs W and I were there about 30 years ago when the wall was coming down. We went through Checkpoint Charlie to the Eastern district. There was a fresh memorial to a failed escapee in the no-mans land between the sectors. Then the Eastern sector was poverty stricken and the Western skyline was a forest of tower cranes. I'll bet it's changed a lot since then. We must re-visit.
