"Hey, Anni!! Over here! Look at me!"

Goodness, you should have seen the excitement when Anni arrived today! There were woodpeckers, blue jays, cardinals, finches, wrens, squirrels and chippies all vying for Anni's attention ... and begging her to photograph them. Even the baby titmice got in on the action, as you can see here.

Anni and I have spent a lovely afternoon on our deck, holding our own against mosquitos and visiting as if we've known each other forever. Hubs joined us when he got home from work and we all sipped beer while noshing on cedar planked salmon, fresh corn w/basil and orzo with peas from my garden. Yep, just another day at the Bistro...
