Cheeky Pluckers
I arrived an hour or so before my appointment, and so had a walk into nearby Tatton Park..
There were lots of jackdaws around. The Park has many ancient trees, with lots of decay, and holes providing nest sites for the birds. I noticed jackdaws collecting material to line their nests, and a number of them were landing on a resting red deer stag and plucking out beak fulls of his hair. He didn’t look entirely happy.
