Hydeaway Bay, Queensland.

We found this caravan park last year, nice and quite and off the beaten track. Last year they only had Opus for the phone, but Telstra was put in during the year so good phone coverage. Somehow both our Vodafones (NZ ones) are only letting us make emergency calls from them. Got to get that sorted. We both have Telstra pre-paid, that we roll-over each year, so don't have to get new phone cards each time we come over.
Went into Airlie Beach to get a fitting for a gas bottle, so it would fit our little gas stove. The stove that came with the camper, is fitted right along side the tent part. We both think that it is an invitation for a fire.
So have decided to do away with the stove & sink that is mounted on the trail-gate if the trailer. The sink isn't connect to a drain, so no use either. At some stage, we will get a shelf with a drawers in it, that can be bolted in that place, so cutlery etc can be stored in it.
Went for a walk along the beach late afternoon. Paddled in the water, and it is the warmest that I have felt over here for years.
Might go for a swim.........tomorrow.
