Fritillaries

At last my new fritillaries are beginning to open. There are five more buffs, but this is the first. Those is Fritillaria acmopetala, which I bought last year. The colours are a little darker than expected but they may brighten at it opened more . I planted them next to my snakeheads, as they clearly like the soil and conditions there. I'm pleased that all 5 that I planted have a flower bud on them .
Katy came for lunch today and dropped off a balance bike for Josie, I'm sure she'll be very excited when she sees it tomorrow.
We treated ourselves to some very tasty Chicken Kievs from M&S premium range this evening. They were delicious.
