Frost
Thanks everyone for your stars and hearts for my four years of life here in this friendly community. A special thanks to my good friend Huw Thomas for realising that I needed to join you all here.
A frosty start to join the dawn chorus and experience another beautiful day awakening. Small flocks of Linnets and pleasant signs of an increase in the population of Greenfinches were noted. Blackcaps and Chiffchaff were singing along with Mr and Mrs Wren whilst fearless Blackbirds were making a small dent the slug population.
L brought Logan around and stayed for little longer than expected as her first visit had been admitted to hospital.
Ben and I made the short journey to Bideford to complete the purchase of a nearly vintage Camper Van.
A short wander around Appledore and onto the river front to let Logan let off some steam.
A telephone conversation with lovely lady from the Trauma Team at Derriford Hospital. in the 45 minutes conversation she generally summed up that I was doing remarkably well but must remember it’s still early days. I was told to ring my local GP to explain some minor issues of numbness and a few aches and pains.
L and her ducklings popped around and excitedly explored the new old campervan.
Fish and chip supper filled the day nicely.
Photo of said van in extra.
