A haircut
The sunrise was quite spectacular this morning but not the harbinger of rain, just some very strong wind for a short time this afternoon.
There was a small group at Friday morning coffee today, probably because it’s the first week of the school holidays in New Zealand. However, we all had a good chat and enjoyed the coffee and then went our separate ways. As MrMacD and I passed the hospital on our walk home we saw a helicopter landing. An empty stretcher was pulled from the helicopter, which probably meant that a patient was going to be picked up and transferred to Dunedin hospital for more specialised treatment. Sure enough, a short while later as we continued on our way home the helicopter flew above us heading south towards Dunedin.
After a quick lunch MrMacD dropped me at the hairdresser then went to do the shopping before returning to pick me up. It’s the first time I’ve been to this hairdresser and I was very pleased with the cut. I shall certainly return.
I spent some time this afternoon catching up with computer admin, while MrMacD assembled the floor lights we purchased yesterday. We also had a nice FaceTime chat with friends in Sweden and I took K on a tour of the house. I was hoping they might come to NZ for a visit, but I don’t think that’s going to happen, sadly.
