Battered and Bruised

A small bakery company specialising in gluten free bread recently offered an attractive promotion of six different varieties of bread.

Sadly, we had no spare room in the freezer. I was able to slice two loaves but the others remained in the delivery box. As a result, the remainder went mouldy including this date and cinnamon loaf which I had been looking forward to sampling.

The colour of the mould so reminded me of the colours that appear around a bruise. This photo saturated to highlight the colour differences.

Another bruising day, I failed to get an F.
