Friday

We went to Brecon this morning. We enjoyed a woodland and riverside walk and then visited the cathedral.

Tessa and I perused the charity shops and then Simon bought her new walking boots.

Back home for lunch.

Clive mowed their lawns and Tessa did some gardening. Their rhododendrons are about to flower but they'll miss them as we all go back to Devizes tomorrow.

This afternoon, Clive, Hetty and I went walking whilst our hosts got on with household chores. The area is staggeringly beautiful!

Clive has caught the sun despite factor 50 on his face. 

Extra is the tree in the courtyard behind the house. And there's one of Hetty because she's beautiful.

(My eldest is 34 today!!!)
