Perennial Cornflower

Had a walk down the lower path this morning.
Took lots of pictures, plenty of wildflowers.
Spent the afternoon adjusting, editing and playing with lots of them, but in the end have chosen this one which was hardly tweaked at all.

Centaurea Montana. AKA mountain bluet, bachelors button, mountain cornflower, and others no doubt.

Cold but bright here most of the day. Fortunately I was nicely tucked up in the warm for the afternoon video call to agree some wide Wednesday hearts. I shall post the results tomorrow.
