Bittersweet

Today would have been an anniversary. It hasn’t been celebrated, but I quietly marked it in my mind. A lesson. Life is a lesson.

I won’t dwell.

Noo went back to school today. He has been a superstar these last 3 weeks or so. I couldn’t have managed without my boys.

I had a tiny success _ a promotion at work. I will probably have to give that up in favour of working from home. Noo is still very young. I might have promised him a dog. He would love that.

I will always be demonised by some, but I can be satisfied that I always placed family first.
