The firsts

The first of the alpine strawberry flowers are out in our garden, along with rosemary flowers in the sun, dead nettles in the shade, and the late tulips in the pots.

Was back at school this week. We planted the fruit bushes that I brought from our allotment, along with some seeds and potatoes. The kids enjoyed the latter task most of all I think. Although litter picking and watering were close seconds! Was good to chat over a cup of tea and a scone nearby afterwards.

Did some other mundane stuff, and then made burgers for dinner and a crumble as a treat. For me anyway. H just wanted celery.
