Megalong mercy dash

A friend in hospital suddenly, so down with their cat to the valley this morning for an open-ended visit to the cattery.

The valley was looking gorgeous this morning with heavy frosts still in place in the shaded areas and steam rising in other parts where the sun was falling.

But I love this little corner of the road - a sharp hairpin with the creek running beneath the road - I've never followed the creek upstream, but it looks so inviting. I gaze briefly, but longingly at it whenever I pass.
