Portobello Beach Edinburgh Day 308

A day designed for those, as emhowl, reminded me yesterday, who are on staycation! When the sun shines on the Firth of Forth here to the east of the city of Edinburgh there are breathtaking views in excess of 180 degrees. The views on a midsummer morning seem to be almost be infinite. The gentle warmth in the air an unforecast benefit and the clarity of the sea air a wonderful tonic. Let's hope it lasts!
