Had a lovely and out of the blue invitation to spend some days in the 'top end' of Australia's Northern Territory in a couple of weeks time.

Our Groote Eylandt connection are on the move again, this time to Brisbane. After almost a decade of working in 'the bush' (the Pilbara, Africa's Kalahari and most recently the Gulf of Carpentaria), son A and daughter-in-law E are off to a big smoke!
On route they are having a few days in Darwin and Kakadu and asked if I would like to join them.
We lived in Darwin when A was a year old so this will be a great return some 30 years later.

I LOVE the research part of a new trip. Unwrapping a shiny, new and (in this case) red Moleskin and getting books and maps to pore over is a real treat.

Oooooo yes, bring it on!!
