Terrific summer concert put on by the primary school kids today. Son#2 did enjoy it despite the less than enthused look on his face here.

I got loads of compliments for the backing video I'd put together for one of the tracks the kids were singing, which put me on a high. Fortunately this was not dented in the slightest by the confirmation today that Monday will be my last working day under the current redundancies. Time for change is fast approaching - I'm going to welcome it with open arms and see where it takes me.

I also learnt a lot today about just how far I can push my luck with my new lens in low light situations. Not that far apparently, but still quite pleased with the results.
