Garendon Bluebells
Sunny intervals but chill. I was glad of my woollen loop when Basil and I set off for Garendon Park with Cecily this afternoon. Despite the ground having been cleared with forestry work ongoing, English bluebells had pushed through. They are amazing.
The fresh Spring green of the new leaves (see extra of Garendon Drive) and the bare patches in the rape fields, whether through too much rain, or too many stones on the soil, also took my eye.
