“Here I sits like birds in the wilderness “

On our stroll at the Kelpies this morning we noticed one of the resident swans sitting on a nest. They had built a couple of others but seem to have settled on this one. Hope all the dog walkers keep their pups well away!
We were also very surprised to find that both car parks were very busy indeed. There was, apparently, an event on, a fun run no less, and there were masses of runners, perhaps as many as a couple of hundred. Chloe was so confusticated  that she just sat down until they had all jogged past!
