Isle of Whithorn

I went to St Bees this afternoon at low tide looking for textures.. What I found was a chap cycling about on the beach and a lot of families enjoying the sunshine. I got a few shots to review.
I regrouped with Jess at the Harbourmaster in Whitehaven for a couple of pre dinner (kebab) drinks, she'd had a tough day on High Snockrigg marshalling a fell race.
On return to base (Kells) we were treated to a west coast sunset. 
Looking over the Irish Sea towards Galloway, Scotland, the sun going down behind the Isle of Whithorn which fair and square trumped my arty efforts at St Bees.
