The Tree

On our regular evening walk through the wood behind the house to the shore path .
This tree, in the evening light, has been the subject of many blip entries over the years .
I love it !
We have worked in the garden most of the day, albeit at a leisurely pace .
We are heading back to Jim Mum tomorrow for a week and we were keen to get the planting finished before we go. We are a bit late , but now have 2nd early potatoes , broad beans, and mangetout peas planted in the vegetable bed - courgettes , broccoli, chard and sugar snap peas in the greenhouse.
I have planted lots of different varieties of sweetpeas , again a bit late , but I hope they will thrive.
It has been such a beautiful day !
