No photos were taken today so I am using two recent ones showing the well known fountains in the shape of huge balls. 

They sit in the Avon River next to the Christchurch Town Hall.

The extra photo shows the three balls with Victoria Square and a surviving 2010/11 earthquake high rise, now a hotel, in the background.
