The French Lieutenant’s Room

After a week’s work in Taunton, and another to go, came down to Lyme Regis for the weekend. It’s a place I’ve always wanted to go and it’s lovely. Stayed in a rather fabulous room named in honour of the famous book/ film associated with the town. We played the film on Amazon but unfortunately I fell asleep as usual and missed it!!
Suffering from a summer cold that has turned into a little chest infection. Worryingly have lost my voice. Hope it comes back by Monday morning or training will be tricky!
Discovered a great new drink when S. accidentally topped up my whisky with cider. Probably not the best way to cure throat but it seemed a good idea at the time :-)
