One of the leaders

It is the Ironman triathlon today so we are "locked in" in our village until late this afternoon. I managed to photograph the first five cyclists, this morning, it's always a good exercise in panning. For some reason I can't upload the extras which is a pity The serious cyclists at the front certainly don't look left or right or acknowledge the people cheering them on. It's much more relaxed as the day goes on with some cyclists interacting with the spectators. I feel sorry for them as an easterly wind has come up and they have about another 25kms to go - riding into that wind will tire them and they still have to do the run. I do envy the fitness of these people. The distances they have to do are -3,8km swim, 180km cycle, 42km run.
