Rocky Shore

Alas, our sandy beach is now a rocky one as a result of the recent flood.
Oh well, hopefully the next one will return the sand and there is still plenty a bit further downstream. 
At least the kids will have no trouble finding rocks to skim.

It's nice to be back at the farm. We went for a lovely ride on the bikes this morning checking for any effects of the recent weather event. The neighbour was busy repairing another neighbour's crossing.

The "engineering masterpiece" blipped by isbiJG 16 months ago has completely washed away on the far side making it impassable. At present no one lives beyond it which is fortunate as it will be a council job to fix. However there is a property there for sale there which won't do anything for its value.
