Exhibition opening...

...ceremony about to begin. As I was the host, I couldn't get any better photos from the event itself, but you can see another angle in Jukkakos' blip, with a rare sight of Yours Truly in a suit.

The day began at the hotel in Tampere with the AFCC event for the chairmen of the clubs. I might have had something else to do before the opening, but it was actually quite relaxing to a part of the audience before the action began.

When I got to the exhibition house, the last preparations were done and people started coming in. I think there were 90-100 people at best, which is more than anybody expected, but obviously a very nice thing to happen, and just about as much as could fit in relatively comfortably. Even more surprising given the weather conditions, as it had snowed a few centimetres and the temperature was still well below zero!

After the AFCC exhibition opening, we had another opening, that of the international digital exhibition organized by our club. We had sent out links to those willing to participate in either event via Teams and it worked out quite well (like it has in our monthly meetings and previous events) for the first event, but unfortunately the app froze completely at the start of the latter. After trying to get it working for a while, we just had to start without the remote participants.

After that it was back to the hotel for the exhibition dinner. There were over 60 people there, too, and more of them were of the younger generation than usually, which was very delighting.
