Proud mum

Our son J ran the London Marathon today. We are so proud of him - his commitment, effort and determination. It hasn't been an easy lead up to it. He would have liked to have done it in 3 hours, but the last 10km pushed him to the limit, and he still achieved a time of 3 hrs 17. Fabulous! 
Meanwhile we also ran in a challenging race (for us) at our local vineyard : 10.6km and 230 m elevation. Both very pleased to do it in around an hour and 'enjoyed' the beautiful scenery if not all the challenging hills!!
Treated ourselves to late lunch at the Tiger :))
