What a glorious day to be outside.... Dealing with first aid emergencies lol
We were either very fortunate or unlucky depending how you look at it but we encountered.... snake bite and subsequent anaphylaxis, open lower leg fracture, closed arm fracture, trauma induced stroke, mental health crisis and self-harm, small arterial head bleed, severe torso laceration , a broken rib and suspected punctured lung, amputated digits, hypoglycemia and hypovolemic shock. On a few occasions the river rose suddenly and the casualty needed to be moved safely and quickly and then reassessed.
Fortunately there was very little panic, some great leadership and some thought through teamwork. 

Am shattered now, but smiling, more good folks out in the world ready to step forward and be counted.
