Joan's bench

Here you go, @nadinepierce - I finally found Joan's bench, so thought I'd make this my photo of the day :)  (Apparently it has been moved about a bit in recent years - this is in 'Cherry tree glade', down below Cairn top - not sure if that's where you'd expect to find it.)

Tim and I helped out at the Cairn this morning.  Such a beautiful day for it - and a nice task of doing a 'recce', so essentially just walking along lots of the paths, noting work that needed doing, spotting wildflowers, and chopping brambles. 

Came home for a well-earned lunch, and had a pretty relaxing afternoon thereafter.  (Well, I did - Tim started the next batch of wine going.)
