The Big Picture

Well yesterday was somewhat of a write off..so I was hoping today would be better...and it was. 

I actually made some progress today in the trip planning challenge that has been driving me crazy......With the advice of fellow blippers who helped pinpoint what to see and where to stay in North Wales, my sister and I tackled the task of looking for vacation rental cottages with a much more focused approach..(Knowing where you want to be based sure helps!)  We found some very promising choices...and felt so much better to see things falling into place...at least in our heads....and at least about Wales. 

Being so encouraged by that, we got out the big maps and started plotting out where we want to go after Wales. We have 6 weeks to block out so one would assume that is plenty of time to fit everything in, but it isn't! We find ourselves shifting priorities a lot and so have not nailed down the rest of the trip yet...but we made some progress today. 

I also got out in the yard today and did a bit of raking and edging...not much, but more than yesterday - yesterday the weather was so horrid it actually started to HAIL! So that ended that....Today was much better.. and nice to see that the hyacinths have survived the deluge and that the bleeding hearts have sprouted and in no time will be blooming...(extra) Right behind them? The hostas are peeping up..so spring has landed...Yay.
