Sourdough discard.
Still in our winter hats and coats for the doggie walk this morning can’t recall such a cold April.
Back home it’s time to feed the Beast from the Yeast as I will bake tomorrow, for those who don’t know when you feed your beastie you discard
half of the mixture, you can throw it away or save it. I save mine and used it today to make a Sourdough Chocolate Cake with frosting.Most will go in the freezer to enjoy at a later date.
Planted up Ranunculus and Anemone corms in pots to give them a start before putting them in the garden, the Dahlia tubers are all sprouting when they are about 3 to 4 inches I will take cuttings.
Feeling pretty tired tonight.
