Eagle Nest Open Space

Today was so much better than yesterday. Our hike in Colorado was on. It was so pretty with a little fresh snow gracing the tops of the hills and low hanging clouds made it so picturesque. We had 8 women go on the hike and it was about 5.3 miles. I'm looking forward to going back there on my own or with just one friend so I can take my time. A few flowers were just starting to show up. I bet in a couple weeks it will be fabulous.
In the extra is a picture of the trail map and a picture of us at the end. I'm on the left holding the sign. I joined the April challenge to see if I could hike at least 35 miles. Happily, I have made 36.2 after today and there is still a bit of April left.
