Glimpse of the Past

SusannaHelen and I took a day off from house clearing today to be tourists for a while.

Visited nearby National Trust property at Tyntesfield and caught up with fellow blipper CathrynG.

Tyntesfield was occupied, more or less in its mid-19th Century state, until about ten years ago when the National Trust acquired it. Some parts have been restored, other bits (like this doorway) still look as if they've not changed much.

And I got to meet Smiler, the Tyntesfield cat.
