Another lovely day

Very hot again today so we enjoyed relaxing in a hide, watching the hippo trying to find shade long the river bank. The heron was flying around too.
We had a bit of a to do with an elephant who'd been for a mud bath and decided to be belligerent when walking on the road and cars appeared!  We had a stand off and he fluffed his ears and snorted a bit before wandering off to the other side of the road!  Taken through the windscreen, so the rear view mirror is visible.
I was delighted to get a shot of the lilac breasted roller as it took off. They are such lovely birds - beautifully coloured.
Was delighted yesterday when Fran of Franstrips popped along to say hello as they arrived in camp. Always great to have a mini bleepmeet and be able to physically say Hello to other blippers.
