Encouraging the rain

Ever hopeful. Put my washing out even though we were expecting rain. And unfortunately we didn't get much. A fire popped up just south of the ranch bordering the fields there, but looks like the fire crew got it under control for now we've got equipment set up to trash the bordering fields to prevent spread if it heads this way.  It's crazy dry. Husband and I had a run together today I enjoyed it getting back into my running. I made a chocolate cake for the ranch staff whilst husband checked and fed the cows in the afternoon. We enjoyed playing wingspan in the evening.
