A road

near Thirlmere.  This was an early start as the sun was out at home .  I decided to go to Great Langdale, Blea Tarn and all points in between.  The road around Thirlmere is closed to traffic, walkers and cyclists as Cumberland Council has stated the road is in danger from falling rock.  You can get to the carpark and that was where these Herdwicks were being moved from one field to another, beyond the road block!  Anyway this flock skipped along the road.  Although you can't see it the farmer followed on his quad bike giving his dog a lift.  Later, the the Langdales, Herdwick lambs were gambolling after their 'mums.'  A good day although cloudy over Blea Tarn.
