End Of The Line
The end of the line at Tanfield Railway. The engine is bing moved to the other end of the train for the return journey. Tanfield Railway is the world's oldest railway that is still in operation. It opened in 1725 and trains ran continuously until 1964. It then closed but part of the oldest section has been preserved and trains run on certain dates throughout the year.
