Shapes in oak branches

A magnificent oak in a field down Xwaaqw'um split and came down in a wind storm several years ago. It's gradually returning to the earth as it slowly rots and is a feeder tree for other vegetation and lots of little insects. I thought this image worked for Earth Day and for the MonoMonday theme of 'shape'. Thanks to JohnEdward for hosting MM.
