A late Extra. It was very remiss of me not to have noticed that today is St George's Day. So, here is an icon depicting Saint George despatching the dragon.
St George was a busy man, not only is he patron saint of England, but also of  of Aragon, Catalonia, Ethiopia, Georgia, Greece, Palestine, Portugal, and Russia, as well as the cities of Amersfoort, Beirut, Ferrara, Freiburg, Genoa, Ljubljana, and Moscow, as well as of farmers and shepherds and a wide range of professions, organisations and disease sufferers.

PS Yesterday's ghostly beast was a sprouting Jersey Royal potato.
