Rydal Water

A glorious day. An early trip into the Lakes. Penny Rock, Loughrigg Terrace and then a steep climb up onto Loughrigg. Glorious views in all directions.

From the top we descended steeply to Rydal cave. Lunch at the Badger Bar and then a walk through the grounds at Rydal Hall and then up onto the coffin route to return to the car.

Wonderful. Step-son loved it too.
