lucky escape

Arrived outside my hotel and stopped to text someone …a car wheel came flying past about 20m away into bushes and this car skidded to a halt.

Apparently the couple bought the car last night… only one bolt holding the front wheel in place (all other bolts missing) just one bolt - and that sheared off.

The couple said they had been on the motorway outside Manchester earlier … that sort of accident would have been nasty on a busy road!

If I’d been a bit earlier the wheel would have probably hit me… I lifted the wheel out of the bushes and passed it to them you can see it behind the car.

That certainly got my heart beating faster!

All happened so fast …life eh

I might go buy a lottery ticket…
