Whitby on route to Hull

We vacated the holiday home by 10 am and decided to take the coastal route via Whitby.  We enjoyed a walk along the harbour wall, then fish and chips overlooking the sea before walking into town and up the steps to the Abbey. It was here that we found a tap bar where we enjoyed half of jet black beer,  see blip.

Then on to Hull to see C and D, a takeaway pizza and catching up on news. C is planning a trip to India with work ... exciting.
