Flags Flying For England And St George
Mishka and I went to Ernest Doe of Fyfield to get some of the special Briggs and Stratton petrol additive for the old ride-on mower. I've noticed in the past that quite a few people who live along the route are patriotic, so wasn't surprised to see flags flying with pride in honour of St George's Day. The properties weren't semis with white vans outside, as posted by Emily Thornberry ten years ago but pretty country cottages, some thatched. A Canadian patriot had The Maple Leaf flying at Hobbs Cross. I also saw a fluttering Stars and Stripes but didn't get a pic.
