Flying Saucer

Towns and cities in Portugal are preparing for celebrations on 25th April, the fiftieth anniversary of the Carnation Revolution.  In Sines, in our way north to Alcáçer do Sal for the night, we saw this contraption apparently doing nothing useful in the construction of stage and lighting for the event. 

Slightly further north we stopped for lunch on the beach. It looked utterly glorious, with incredible colours (Extra).
