Swimming with ducklings

Such a pity my water camera didn’t focus on the duckling! However, we had a very lovely swim this morning, in a relatively low and calm river. Ten ducklings were happy to swim around with us. It’s amazing how close they let you get when you are in the water. :)
In the evening, Cathie, Scout, Jodie and I walked up Sharp Haw. (First time for me). It was very boggy and we had quite a big wash up with the dogs after. But I really enjoyed it and the view from the top were lovely.
It’s still not Cathie’s favourite but I’d be quite happy to walk up there again … perhaps when it’s a bit dryer!
