Best Foot Forward

Firstly, apologies. I will be the first to admit that my manky, stockinged feet are not the ideal photographic subject.

However, this photo means something to me as it was the first time that I've actually moved the dial on the camera round to "M" and taken a fully manual photo.

Furthermore, I now know what the numbers, lines and indicators represent in the bottom of my viewfinder and how I should be using them. Whilst this might be elementary to the majority of you, it is welcome news to me.

Already looking forward to the weekend and getting out to find some rather more interesting subject matter!
